So, here we go!
Another coil compatilbility thead, but I´ll try to make this is not just "another" thread. This will bring you some more useful infos, or thats what I hope :)

I love sub-ohm tanks, specially the ones that brings you the oportunity of using coils aside of their own manufacturer.

Thread is focused on "small/baby" coil class, but it will has also a little parcel for other tank and coil compatibilities. I find this class very interesting, some manufacturers created some pieces of art out of this. Also, it is still one of the most used for mainstream market.

FINAL REMARKS AND ADVICE:
- Owners of some specially narrow tanks (normally TPD versions) may not work with some larger coils like QF from Vaporesso.
- Some coils may look 100% identical and ready to fit, but you should always check their technical specs and specially its dimensions. In picture things look different!
- Most of coils should fit in any tank in that list. In case of doubt, please ask.

INCOMPATIBLE TESTED COILS:
Due to subtle differences in height/width or thread metric it couldnt make it to work.

- Asmodus Ohmie
- Wismec WM03, WM02, WM01, WM-M

CLEANING/RECOVERY & RE-USE PROCEDURE

Let me share with you a cleaning procedure that I use. It a mix of various techniques I learned from some YT videos and other forums.

1) Faucet cleaning with hot water; first wash. Just to remove the most eliquid as possible. Dry with toilet or kitchen paper, taking care not to leave paper residues. No need to get them fully dried.

2) Soak coils in vodka or gin (even alcohol 96 + water at 30/70 will work). Mediocre spirits are OK... No need to spend money here. Leave it no more than 8 or 12 hours to avoid damaging rubber or metal. Try to leave them in vertical possition.
You can use all kinds of liquids that you would take to your mouth (except alc.96..). NEVER USE DETERGENT/CLEANERS OR SOAP.

3) Hot water rinse. If there are residues adhering to mesh or wire, I use one of the largest interdental brushes and I brush it gently and patiently. Just like this:
300848_600x600.jpg

4) Leave to air dry at least 48h. DO NOT SPEED UP THE DRYING PROCESS! (using hair dryers, leave them over radiators,...) this will cause the drainage material to clump and drain poorly.

Optional & recommended:
4b) Ultrasonic machine wash, 2 cicles, 5 minutes each.
5b) Rinse.
6b) Let it dry as mentioned above.

NEVER LET THE COIL TO GET TOO MUCH GUNK.
The longer you use the coil, the hardest to clean. (Even make it impossible to clean)

Life of a coil IS NOT INFINITE. I have not cleaned any, at the moment, more than 3 times. I don't know what happens after successive washes. I also have no intention of finding out. It is a matter of hygiene, safety and responsibility of each one.

Extra TIPS:
- If oxidation or degradation (cracks, chipping ...) is observed in chrome, DO NOT USE and discard.

- Some materials and fibers may have low factory drainage capacity. Some micro holes can be made with a pin in the liquid openings to enhance this effect. The hole must go through all the material.

- If excessive dark brownish colouration is observed on the cotton, it may be burned and it may not be suitable for cleaning anymore. Discard if the taste is unpleasant or tends to dry hit.

- Always prepare the coil mounted on the tank base, making sure to thoroughly soak all material before you finish mounting and fill the tank. Once the tank is assembled and filled, let it rest for a good 10 minutes. Closing the air passage and taking a few "empty/vacuum" puffs ensures uniform soaking of the wick material.

REWICKING PROCEDURE
Despite I feel kinda handyman, I failed miserably everytime I tried to rewick a baby coil. However, some will find this tutorial interesting:

OTHER COMPATIBILITIES:

VOOPOO // FREEMAX
It seems that in order to mount other coils than Voopoos in a UFORCE / UFORCE 2 you need to change the pyrex of 2ml TPD, which also may require an accessory in the chimeney (extender); NOT SURE ABOUT THIS.
More info about this:
https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/...force-t2-tank-and-fireluke-mesh-coils.186143/

As to compatible coils, tested by users that has big pyrex:
1) Freemax: X & TX Mesh series.
They can also be found as a replacement for "Twister" and "Fireluke Mesh / Fireluke 2"
And they look VERY good!, especially the TX series with cotton fiber tea.

https://www.freemaxvape.com/product/freemax-twister-80w/
All compatible coils in at description section.
Please note: original Fireluke & PRO versions are NOT compatible.

2) Voopoo: their own, those listed on their home page.
Look in the middle of the page where it says "Core description", there are all coils listed, which are not a few:
https://www.voopoo.com/drag-2-kit

3) Vapeston: -not Vapesoon-. Vapeston "Avatar Nano".

4) A few more NOT CONFIRMED:
- Wismec: WT01, WT02 y WT03
- Advken: Dark Mesh (single & triple coils)

PERSONAL SCORING / RATING:

This is my rating system (personal opinion for tested coils):
Points goes from 0 to 10, being 0 the worst value.

F = Flavour. 0 complete leak of flavour, 10 for purest flavour.
LC = eLiquid consumption. 0 highest comsuption, 5 moderated, 10 best efficiency.
SQD = Steam quantity and density, the higher the "cloudiest".
D = Durability, 0 for < 50 pulls, 5 one week, 10 up to 1 month or more (based in 5-7ml/day).
CC = Cleaning/re-use capacity. 0 non re-usable, 5 for one succesfull clean , 10 for 2 cleaning w/o wear out.
