Try a woman's nail polish which matches, would be better on paint than a marker.

yea done that, but generally they are always too glossy so it shows up badly.

Smoant battlestar, supposed to hear it more if you put it to your ear, I've never heard it myself as I've never even seen a battlestar in the flesh, smoant told me it's fixed now though so maybe you have a newer non ticking one.

Try a Matt finish, or just take all the paint off like this guy

:O I remember doing that to a bmx lol way too much hassle, plus you have to lacquer it otherwise the stainless just dulls. I might plastidip mine in a lewd colour

No no no lol, too many issues with these, well I finally got my new setup. Here she is.

No button rattle but despite smoant assuring me they had fixed the ticking issue on newer mods mine does tick. (You have to hold the fire button to your ear to hear it) and it is a new one manufacture date is 2017.7
