Yeah, it's fine in coffee cake and the like - always liked that.

It is drinkable though (allegedly) - during rationing it was the only coffee like substance readily available so I think it stuck with some of that generation.


I still wouldn't sub-ohm it mind.

I cannot foresee any possible issue with that. Just so long as you keep it cool enough so as not to burn the chicory it should be fine.

Maybe a good candidate for temp control?
