Have recently got myself the Xtar sc1which chargers my batteries at 2amp will this reduce the life of my batteries .Any info appreciated.

It's fine to charge them at 2 amps (but check they aren't getting too warm), once the internal temp gets over 50 degrees or so it speeds up battery degradation, I have tried to look in the past to see if anyone has tested how much by but could never find any concrete tests on it.
**Worth checking the datasheet for your batteries just to be safe.

I always charge my 21700s at 2 amp and 18650s at 1 amp, no reason really just what i do.

Hmm, my 18650s and 21700s get warm enough at 800mah charging, I wouldn't fancy 2A.

That list needs to be updated for the hohm techs.

(The new home run xl i know goes to 6 amps, and in not sure about the lower nums)

I cant believe the max charge rate of the molicels
See the *** on the right side.

I charge all my batteries at 2amps. No problems at all with any of them.

Yeah but as the datasheet says... it will reduce the life cycle of the cell.

If you like buying new batteries all the time then feel free. :D
