Was scared of batteries and high power mods. This thread changed it all.

I bought My Smok Alien Kit a 10 days ago ...
Got it delivered on the 15th of April and started using it ...

Today out of the blue it just shorted out on me and smoke came out on the side of the mod ...
so i hastily removed the batteries ...
It gave out and acrid burnt smell ...
was warm to thee touch ...

After a while i put the batteries in after it cooled down
booted up normal , but now doesn't read ohms on any tanks and the PCB temp keeps going up even when not in use ....

PLS Help ??? ...contacted the vendor , hope i get another mod sent ...

You really , really need a replacement. If the mod started to produce smoke, was hot, and smelt bad, I would not even attempt to turn it on again.

Make sure you get a replacement, assuming you didn't do anything to cause it. Do not use it!
