Smok coil types

Just a quick one that someone will answer categorically!

Are the Smok TFV8 Baby and the TFV8 mini the same thing?

could I use TFV8 baby coils in a TFV8 mini tank?

Think Smok made too many variations of their kit so nobody really knows.
I say nobody but mean most folk on here give smok a wide birth.
I'd say by looking at them the answer would be no.
@Mitz is not necessarily a smok fan but is a font as is @Vapaneezer Scrooge on all things smok.

TFV8 Big Baby Beast’s coils are compatible with the smaller Baby Beast from the same generation.

TFV8 is one of the worst for variations, I no longer have any of the old V1's and now on the TF V8 Big Baby V2 with mesh coils, I lost track of the V1's as they were pants the V2 however is superb with new generation mesh, have you got a photo of the tank?

Or which kit it came with?

It’s the TFV8 mini V2 but I’ve seen comments that it’s the same as the TFV8 Baby and the coils for those are so much cheaper so wondered if they were in fact the same and interchangeable.

I’m thinking of changing to an RTA anyway so it may well be a moot question but the wife is still using hers so would be nice to know either way.

If it's the V2 then the new Mesh coils are frikkin awesome and last ages, worth the extra in my opinion, does it look the same as in my review?

They look identical but unsure if the threads are the same that’s why I was hoping someone would have both sets to hand and be able to try them cross platform as it were!

The threads are usually the same, it's usually the height that differs.
