Can anyone tell me what the difference is ? does one wick better than the other, are there health issues ?

Both make you a bit itchy...

Fibreglass has silica in it as one of its main ingredients but a load of other stuff.

Silica wick, or high silica wick is mostly silica. 95%+ with the good stuff.

Fibreglass had a lower melting point and indeed can melt if you torch it.

Fibrelass is more... Fibrey

Any hypothetical health risks from vaping using either would be from inhaling the fibres

Fibreglass is cheaper

All atomizers used to have fibreglass wicks

I'm surprised no one has tried using kevlar or ceramic wick yet tbh

Dammit l have enough for now but l'll be having a look when l need some for the vivi mini's :)

I found that 2 x 3mm strips of wick one on top of the other works nicely in a mini instead of the 4 x 1.5mm that comes as standard
