Parallels vs claptons

A lot of cloud chasers in competitions us parallels. Do parallels compete with todays fancy fused claptons?

I prefer parallel over clapton in my single coil mech squonkers. 26ga SS always seems to get there quicker, and because it's a wider surface area, gives much better flavour. I normally only do these when I can be arsed though, as it can be a bit more fiddly to install.

24 gauge is to big to use isnt it?

Oops, 26awg. I find anything thinner a pain to work with.
