Don't know if this has been posted before, have done a search and haven't found anything.
Just bought my mates igo-l (which I had previously borrowed) had tried the hybrid wick in it, which was good. So I thought I'd go one better and use a full stainless wick.
Wick was cut at a 45° angle to the grain and rolled just like a wick for the Aga-t. Wound a niobium alloy coil around a piece of 2.4mm welding rod. Slid the coil onto the wick and secured in place then curled the wick around the inside of the base. Bit of fiddling to get rid of hotspots and Bob's your uncle.
Super clean taste and oodles of vapour
