I don’t use rope, well not since 2012. Always used to run them with a mesh topper. Rope wicks well but I never had success coiling one without a lot of aggro.

I find rope gives a better vape as roundwire in a genny seems to be a smooth vape whereas rope is a little more poppy and rowdy which is what I like.
Since I posted last I've picked up a core X and an in'ax mk 3. Loving all of them

It's a alumide 3d printed clickfet mod by a fabulous modder called THe mods

Still use a Nextiny and also an Origen within the last 3 months with dual mesh wicks for that 25w blast.

What size rope do you use.

I've not settled on a size yet but I think I like the thinner ones but that might be because they are easier to build with. I still have quite a few sizes to test
