first micro coil and cotton

Ok so as title says I done my first micro coil and used cotton for a wick for the first time also.

Set up in Kayfun.

Funny taste but plumes of vapour?

Is it just that the flavour is stronger?

Will it need time to bed in?

When I did mine fella it was pretty fast on the flavour coming in

what type of cotton did you use and how much

Cotton pads cut and rolled into a wick and about the same volume as what's in a standard silica wick.

did you use the outer part of those pads ??? i stripped off the parts

yes stripped them and cut centre out.

Its getting better or I am getting more used to it but think I prefered the taste of silica.

maybe just the change in the flavour

I tried snake oil in one i did earlier in my dripper and the silica one too but the flavour stronger with the cotton
