Hello all, just took delivery of an OBS Engine II RTA and went about installing included coils - stuck it on my Capo 100 but it reads ‘OHMS TOO LOW’ (0.03ohm) - what have I done wrong? Thanks!

Make sure the coils aren’t touching the deck anywhere, shorting on the sides of the chamber or a bit of stray wire isn’t hanging about, and also that they are screwed on tight enough.

No coil included with a tank should ever read 0.03 its below what any mod would fire at, post a picture of your build as somethings not right

ok will have a look
seems ok with just the deck but when i screw the rest of the tank on, it pushes the coil in, maybe just need to start afresh

If the coils are being pushed in once you screw the cap on, they would simply be shorting out on the chimney.

ok so i put a pair of these in with more accuracy but i’m still getting ‘ohms too low’ or shorting
