DNA 40 Hints and Tips...

Is the temperature control really worth all this arsing about?

Cold atty, hot atty, baselines, pre heat. Christ, are we trying to vape or trying to launch a rocket

IMO YES, hardly touched anything else for the last month and liking it more as time goes on.

There is no more arsing around than a DNA30 once you have found where you like the temp setting, the coils are different maybe easier although they are weaker when changing a wick. You don't do anything for the pre-heat it just gets your coil upto temp much faster. There is one extra step in the day to day use and that's just "press up for new coil, down for same" when you change atty.

It probably sounds more complicated than it is, usually an atty will be cold when you put it on so if asked you press UP, if you've just taken it off to refill and it's still a bit warm it might ask, just press down, anything else - take it off, wait a couple of minutes then press UP if asked...

Im just getting to grips with mine and it sure is worth it

My take is it adds an extra level of control

+ you can whack up the watts without having to worry about burning your cotton ;-) that alone is worth it!

Do you also find in tc mode your not using as much juice, as say straight sub ohm, ing?
