Depends how far you go. To me, 10 amps are porting, 30 amps is taking out a 1.0l fiat punto engine, and putting a 7.2l V8 in it's place...
Then quad coiling and using a fair amount of those 30 amps of loveliness, is adding a twin turbo kit to that already mental v8.
The more you push, the more dangerous it is, BUT, the bigger the results.
The jump from 1.8 to 1.6 is hardly noticeable... The jump from 0.5 to 0.3... Is.
Those charts, to me anyway, are a load of b*llocks now anyway... most dual coil tanks CAN take up to 15 watts... Whether or not you like the heat, is a different story. BUT, it's all dependent on the person.
I'm quite happy vaping 12mg juice in the quad coil (Even though I mix up at 4mg...).. But to others, they find the combination of a lump hammer being hit into your throat, as well as having a flaming petrol bomb poured into your throat a bit too much (Pussys)
I LIKE YOU!
YOU USE CAR TALK!
But yep, my igo w3 is very very impractical when I'm out. But do I still use it? Yes. Why? As it brings a smile to my face
12 mg?! Of what? Bubblegum flavour? :-P
Around 90 miles... Ouch.
And, make sure you tag me when you do!
Just out of curiosity, what is it?
Through your knowledge of the crossflow, I'm guessing it's something with that in it. You mentioned escort, however, they're bloody rare now, and I guess you would have posted already if you had one of those
So...
Locost?
Dutton?
Another kit?
My Mk3 Mondeo TDCi has crossflow too! Lol
I thought they were Duratorq?
Or Duratec/Zetec for the petrol?
Duratorq, yes. It's got intake on one side and exhaust on the other. Cross flow. 16 valves too. Pretty much all European petrol and modern diesels bar the smallest, most economical, have this configuration.
Aaaaaah, Now I get you!
I was obviously talking about the original ford crossflow engine from the escort days. haha
