Are Novas and Lavatubes meant to get along?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I'm having problems with a Vivi Nova I picked up from Vapourbase. (3.5ml long wick).

Works fine with my eGo and iTaste, but giving me F1 errors whenever I screw it on to my Lavatube. I got it briefly working using a ego 510 adapter, but no luck now! The version 1 Nova I have works perfectly with the LT, so I'm at a bit of a loss on what to do...

is the pin on your lt spring loaded?
if so you might not be getting contact.

Sounds like your not getting contact, in the past I have stuck an adapter 510/510 to gain a better connection

It is spring loaded as far as I can see...just finding it odd how all my other tanks and clearos work without any issue and this Nova is giving me grief...

I have a 510/ego adapter which miraculously did the trick for all of 5 minutes, until I retried direct connection before going back to the adapter.

sounds like contact issue, possible short in the tank, change the head?

Thanks for the tip KulrMeStoopid! Swapped the 2.4 atty for a 2.8 and it's giving me a reading...HUZZAH! Still have to use an adapter though, thanks to where the vents are located...
