Anyone had a tank gold plated

I am going to take some bits over to an electroplater next week to see what the cost will be to get some 24ct plating done. Just search your local area.

I might have a go at beadblasting some gear. Ive got about 12 varying types of bead i could use....from a very light 'debling' to a very dark course like finish....i'll have a look at my photobucket album for some finishes i've done (i dabble in restoring/modding seiko divers and beadblast cases/bracelets to hide any inperfections originally, but then prefered the finish of a bead blasted case to the normal finish)

It worked out cheaper to buy it already plated, only problem being, it is a bit of a tight fit!
