Good answers already ,

if i start to get the burnt taste i used to remove the bridge if a good vodka soak didn't cure it , however now i find all you need to remove is the small piece of wick that sits on the coil , a pin and a pair of tweezers , 30 sec job and should be good to go .

Finally got fed up and debrigded the atty I have on my tin. Ugh found a huge hot spot right in the center coil, moved coils and BAM! back in business!

Tried cleaning some 510 atomizers, egoC cones and egoC atomizer base yesterday. Soaked all of them in a glass of vodka overnight, hot water rinse in the morning and then left them for drying. Worked like a charm! Shiny and clear of mixed tastes etc. They work like new.
Good advice!

P.S: I didn't debridge the atomizers.
