Cushy life ok mate. I am 50 this month i have been unwell for 42 of those due to Diabetes type 1. So there's the first reason, i am registered blind, reason 2. I live alone and find it a struggle to do a lot of things. My eyesight problem is caused through an insulin that i was on, wasn't working and it led to my trouble.
I also suffer from Sheummans which my back has a curviture due to being in hospital bed for 4 months with an unknown type of Pneumonia, my parents where told to expect the worse but i pulled through in the end. The pain is worsened by arthritis in my back. My right leg i am lucky to still have, thanks to the nurse who looked after it when it became ulcerated. The muscles in my leg are affected by necrobisis that caused the ulcerating, i also had cellurosis in my other leg which i needed hospitization to monitor it as it could have ended up chopped off
. There's much more to add 13 years of violence from my ex wife, including being pushed down a flight of stairs.
Do you know how much i pay out each week for my care etc, no you don't so now tell me my life is cushy. But there will always be folk like you that do not care about disabled folks if you did you wouldn't have made a post thats in truth discrimination, without you actaully realising how bad what you have said is.

If i am a hypocrite you are a liar and think disabled folks have cushy lives, at least i don't resort to those tactics. Keep em coming you may drop yourself in it mate.

I was comparing your life to others around the world, trying to play the discrimination card is a bit pathetic tbh.

For a start, you had, and continue to have, access to medical assistance.

Did your parents have to sell their house to pay for your early treatment as an alternative to watching you die at home?

Do you often go a week without food or clean water?

Do you worry whether you'll be dragged out of your home in the morning, put in a lineup and shot in the face for holding a different religious view to someone else?

Are you often forced at gunpoint to mine minerals?

Are your family poisoned and tortured because of your political opinions?



Maybe you have it harder than I do, but just like me you lead a relatively cushy life compared to the possible alternatives.

On the subject of addiction.....

I used to smoke w when I was younger..... stopped one day and haven't touched it since, .

I used to drink alcohol a fair bit, it got out of hand..... stopped drinking and haven't touched it since.

I smoked for many year's so you would think I'd have been addicted to nicotine but when I took up vaping, I dropped my nicotine level down pretty quickly and now I can either have zero nic juice or 1.5mg, doesn't bother me and I can't tell the difference.

Was I addicted to those drug's ! Or did I just like them and then decided I'd had enough !

I drink 10 to 12 mugs of black coffee every day . Many doctors and specialists have said I should only have 2 cup's but that ain't happening. I've had 2 before 7 o'clock in the morning.

I've been drinking that amount for over 20 year's .

Am I addicted or do I just like it ! [emoji38]

hey matey, how you doing. I think the argument stuff has ceased. I have explained i struggle a bit with wrting due to my vision. Myself and @pdg are hopefully good now after he reached out with a pm and i replied amicably. I think we have an understanding now.
