While I'm waiting for the rest of my goods to arrive from 3F I got impatient with the drip tip situation on my BB so I had my machinist spin me up a hybrid today he's a mad scientist it took him all of 15 min start to finish on a CNC lathe that's talking measurements, programming and all. The thread pitch on the Rev 4 SXK 70W IS 1/2x20 by the way. Here's some pics...

Now if you had live tooling on your lathe he could of done a whistle type tip.

it's not beyond his capability but not in my interest lol! I got plenty of mech tube mods..

hmmm possibly we'll just have to see! I may just pop mine out and get some measurements tonight !

The colors on the resin are great but I wanted a hybrid! and the waiting game SUX!!

Now if you had live tooling on your lathe he could of done a whistle type tip.

I rather prefer the round profile, but the whistle style could've been done on the Bridgeport Mill very easily. The bore on this one is 6mm all the way through (nice and wide open)
