Ok so some people have had a little trouble getting the best out of the Exocet so I thought I’d revisit my old how to guides [emoji1303]

Cleaned, dry burned and ready to go

Wick through, tight but not strangling - a slight pull on the coil only

Pop the chimney cap on (loose) not fully pushed down

Trim the wicks to a few mm from the chimney cap

Remove the cap and using your tweezers fluff the ends up

Juice the wicks up and using your tweezers shape the wick from underneath away from the air hole and smooth slightly the same shape of the air holes on the chimney

Pop the chimney back on, being careful not to trap and of the wick when closing the chimney and tamp the wick back a bit trimming until shown in the pic (you can keep slightly longer) don’t stuff it back in the hole but ensure the air hole has no gaps using your tweezers

Lube top and bottom o-rings with juice and reassemble

Thanks for going to the trouble of doing this. It's invaluable information

Cheers for that, every review I watched online said feed the wick back in once you put the cap back on, this is probably where I’m going wrong, gonna try your method right now :umm:

Thanks dude. This is very helpful. Thanks for taking the time in writing it up.
