Hi I’ve just purchased my first sxk and I need some advice on what wire gage/size is best to use to put a coil build in it and it’s the boro that came with the sxk which has a letter A on the chimney I have some wire 19g + 23g because it’s looking pretty small inside there
(PS IM NEW TO THIS SXK BB)
Ive got the MOBB and that wasn’t to bad to build on and I love it.
Thanks I’m advance

Yeah, I’d say 19g was a bit too big for that. Not used that bridge, but if I was going to I’d slap some of the 26g + 32g kanthal wire I have a spool of in there.

I'd buy a spool of 28AWG in a material of your preference.

24 to 28g, aim for .5 to 1.2ohm. The number of wraps will determine the resistance. 2.5mm diameter is your best bet.

Forget that 19ga wire - that is old school nutcase power level mech mod wire and simply won't be good.

Ideally I would use 24ga wire if you are using the DL pins, but if you are using the larger 2.5 to 3.0mm? DL pin then the 23ga will be ok IMO

If you intend to use it with the smaller MTL air pins then, unfortunately the wires you have won't work. You will need something thinner in the 26 to 28ga ballpark.
