Hi all,

I've got a DNA200 Reuleaux and the board has fried (literally smells like burning).

Does anyone know of any reliable DNA board repair/replacement services in the UK. I'm past the 90 days so wismec want nothing to do with it. I'm looking for a tried and tested place, not keen on losing it.

Cheers.

how long have you had it? the cost of replacing the board will probably be near on the cost of the mod tbh

@mikeyvapes21 there are probably places that will do it but unless you are able to do it yourself or know someone who will do the work for you as a friend its very unlikely to be worth your while... the fix is probably very simple as well and am sure there will be plenty tutorials/videos/how to guides on youtube and the like... I have a couple mods myself that when I can find time I will be repairing... just cause I like then and they are no longer on sale as they were replaced by the manufacturer with something else I dont like as much... I dont know about your mod as its not one I have used.. but for the most part they generally require a few specialist screwdrivers/opening tools and some basic soldering and the like to fix them... mine was a pain to source batteries for as the fixes I had seen were solderimg direct onto live cells which aint advisable... but for ordinary electronics boards that wont be an issue... and the boards for that are as I understand it readily available... good luck with it, let us know if you can get it sorted... of course there may be fellow apes that would be happy to do this for you.. some of them are rather more handy/proficient at that sort of thing than I am... and certainly a few could advise you on what you would need to do...

Where did you buy it from @mikeyvapes21?

I'm pretty sure Evolv have a lifetime warranty on all their boards, but am unsure about how you would go about getting the mod back to them, perhaps the vendor could help you?

There's also the Evolv forum https://evolvapor.forumchitchat.com/ which might have answers.

Good luck [emoji106]

Edit: hmm, coming up with 502 Bad Gateway for the forum at the mo [emoji53] hopefully a temporary glitch
Edit 2: the forum is back up [emoji4]

@windows this guy is good and he knows exactly what he's doing.
As mentioned above a new board with labour will probably cost more than the mod is worth.

Its not worth it, as said before the costs would be more than the mods worth
