Since writing that I have found something that REALLY pisses me off.

It's weight, not so much, but because of it the need to lock it everytime you put it down...and you have to wind that lock ring around for bloody ages until it's safe to rest.

I looked to see if I could make the throw shorter but no dice.

It's a mod for holding, not using while you drink and type.
