Where did your coils come from?
Coilology. It's a clapton reel.
Are the wraps spaced?
No they arent.
TC needs spaced coils
Ahhh! See I said I was doing something wrong lol
Go light on the wicking too, without the tank flooding.
Why isn't this info anywhere on my research??
It's a dripper so no issues with flooding. Ok I'll have to wait until my next build to try TC vaping then lol.
Thank you so much for your help
TC is one of the dark arts of vaping that few wrestle with.
Simple answer to the TC issue, Dicodes mods they cost arm and a leg but TC is perfect max wattage on the mod 60w.
DNA 60w TC is perfect
DNA 75c 75 watts max perfect
i have other mods with TC which are 200w but only use 80w in tc mode.
TC is not for complex coils either.
Anyway back to the answer the reason you don't get passed 60w is because in the milliseconds that it takes to get to even the max temp in TC you still won't use more than the 80 watts ever. Temp is kept the same by the chip altering the wattage to meet the temp demand. Some mods you can feel the wattage spluttering back n forth.
I really like my 2 Aegis x mods and 2 legends but for tc it has to be a DNA , dicodes or a Yihi chip for me.
As said try using some plain ss 316L wire i use 24g and space the coils. Mega low ohm's in SS wires for tc isn't very good which maybe why your struggling to get a good vape. For the cost of some wire it is worth a punt. @Jaffacakes
