Solve your Genesis hot spots and shorting problems

An idea lifted from the SS Maximus Pro and adapted.

Picture, a piece of the silica tube from a carto on to a 2mm SS wick and mounted coil:-

Technically, this also removes the need to oxidise the wick as well. The only reason to oxidise it was to make in non-conductive, but the silica tube now takes care of that issue.

(But you might want to still burn off any manufacturing residues).

Not that I have noticed and it seems that the extra wicking capacity of the silica tube helps stop dry hits, too.
