Sleeper Coil

Well the weekend is nearly here, and well thought I might try building a sleeper coil. I have been told they can be a fiddle to make, but as usual I have Youtubed a few tutorials. So curious to know if any of you coil engineers here have made them and used them, would appreciate your thoughts on the sleeper.
