silica wick in a genesis atomizer

I treated myself to a UD AGI atomizer which came today. I'm not a fan of ss mesh so been playing about with silica wicks however I can't get it quite right. Getting p'd off with dry hits so before I give up on it, I thought I'd ask for your help. How do you set up a genesis atomizer with silica wicks?

My rsst geny set up
Think it's 2ml ekowool ss mesh to tip the ends . Double over the ekowool mesh one end paper clip/pin to wrap the coil btw coil is ribbon cut one srand of ekowool at top of positive post . Then wrap ss mesh round other end of ekowool or( silica ) not realy needed just makes it easier to put in ... first week lovely taste but seems to fade on week 2 ?

clint I also treated myself to one of those agi's and had terrible time with setting up a ss mesh so I reverted back to silica wick and it works a treat

I used 3mm wick single strand but i seen a video on todds reviews for another ud device i think it was the aga but what he did was longer piece of wick and fed it into both holes and wrapped coil similar to the one above...

am gonna give it a try tomorrow only because i did to many wraps and am reading 2.2 ohms

It did get quite hot when I was using it as a dripper but I expected it would as I had a 1.1ohm coil.

I been doing alittle chain vaping @ 1.8ohm and wow it got hot

With the AGI, I can't do the u wick otherwise I would have no fill hole unless I remove the negative post like with the aga t2, but if I do that then it will make it useless as a dripper. So I set it up as a normal genesis style but with 2mm silica doubled over (3mm is too thick and I'm out of 2.5mm). Results are slightly better but not brilliant. I'm still getting dry hits now and then. I have left the fill hole screw out thinking that I can just tip it when needs be to let the juice into the top deck but can I get this thing to do it? Can I bollox!

So back to my original question, how do you set up a genesis atomizer with silica wicks?

@clint there is a fill hole and wick hole just use the fill hole and use a needle bottle to fill it

I know, but to do a u wick I would need 2 wick holes and a fill hole.
