Russian 91% help needed

So it can work with the wire I have, strange! when i say dry hits the first few puffs, I dont only mean the very first, actually its fine the very first few (as I primed it) I mean more if I leave my mod for 30mins, then have a few puffs, the first couple (usually the 2nd) is dry, but after this its fine and I can chain vape it. I then put it down for another 30 to 60 mins, then again same problem, first few puffs (usually the 2nd) is dry. Weird!

I am also just putting the cotton on the deck, not covering but right next to the channels, much like pictured before and as seen all over youtube.

I might take it apart again, re build and take some pics so you can all see what I am using, maybe im missing something?

Yes take some pics so we can take a look. It is weird how you only get dry hits after putting it down for 30 minutes or so and then on the 2nd hit. Creating a good vacuum is important, don't fill your tank all the way full leave some space. One thing I do after wicking and filling is on the first hit i take vapor in and then blow it back into the Kayfun and then breath in again, this creates s good vacuum everytime.

this is really weird i`ve just recoiled mine about 15 mins ago and its been like every other time no dry hits or anything like your getting.

i used some 28g wire and cotton with 7 wraps and it comes out as a 1.2 ohm coil

just gave filled it up far more than last few times (because didnt want to loose loads of liquid when re wicking all the time) and fully enough it seems ok now! i wonder if it needs to be kept well topped up and because i didnt have loads of juice in before, not enough pressure? well ill still re built it when i get my new wire as want to try it out a few ways, but still this thing is kicking the ass out of my kanger tanks, even with the strange dry hit problem i got!

Here you go fella,

Kind of a step by guide

Hard to see but the juice channels are quite big on this one and from what I've seen they vary a fair bit.

1.3ohm 0.3 Kanthal

Test fire all looks good

Muji Wick

Trim to length

Wet wick and place on deck

Assembly takes place

Fill and vape, I never fill all the way and leave an air gap.

Hope this helps fella give a shout if needed

Its put the images in a random order but I'm sure you can work them out

You shouldn't have to keep topping it off with eliquid, with Kayfuns you can vape them until they are dry. I haven't had any issues vaping them until completely empty. I have encountered problems when filling it completely full where there's no air inside to create a vacuum though.

Pictures look fine to me I'm not seeing anything that would cause a problem. Just make sure the coil is 1-2mm raised above the center air hole but it looks as though you've already done that.
