RTA and mesh

This is probably gonna sound a bit dumb but can I use a mesh wick in a RTA? If so, what mesh, where can I get it and how do I do it?!!!
I am quite intelligent really honest!!!!!!!!

I have mesh 270 and mesh 400 and I like the 400 better, it wicks the juice well, oxidized nicely, and is sturdier than the lower numbered meshes.

It needs to be a U wick, so when cutting your piece of mesh, cut it out corner to corner(diagonally)
This makes it easier to bend.
The taste and vapour with U wick is amazing.
