I bought two mechanical mods and two RDAs waiting on delivery
I also bought 50 premade 0.4ohm coils and some cotton as well as 4 LG HE2 20a batteries

the coils were the mistake, it was around 1am and i was about to go to bed. i thought i clicked 0.2ohm coils. i checked my order this morning and it turns out i have 50 0.4 ohm coils on the way. Is this a huge setback? will this affect me massively?

Also feedback on what i bought would be fantastic. always happy to hear what others have to say.

Not a mistake on the coils, a pair will give you 0.2ohm resistance ..... if you had bought 0.2, you'll have ended uo with 0.1 which imo is too low.

I'm not gonna comment on the other crap, sorry I mean gear, you bought. .... who advised you to buy that?

Well, if you want to alter your order you can as your box wont ship for at least a week.

You wont notice much difference in the coils. Depending on who made them they may rate higher or lower than what has been quoted.

Oh okay that's good. I still need to do some research on ohms and coils and all of that stuff.

A friend of mine who "knows a lot about vaping" advised me to buy them.

PLEASE please please.Dont use those mechs untill you entirely comfortable understanding Ohms law and how a coil may short.
Those mechs offer you no protection should anything be wrong with the coil or the way it is installed.
Please stick to the safety features of regulated boxes untill your sure your happy to use a mech

The batteries are no the best for a mech either. Great in a chipped gadget, just not much use in a tube. I suppose if you are running 0.8+ohm coils.

Your friend is an eejit by the way!!

Yeah, I wasn't going to use them until i researched how to do it safely and whatnot. but i had some birthday money left over and he advised me to buy all of this.

And i'm going to second what thon fluffy wee bunny @fyslexic ducker said - IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING WITH A MECH THEN DINNAE TOUCH IT!!

Those things you've bought look gash and I'd no touch them with a barge pole.

Go onto fast tech and try cancel or amend the order, I'm sure you can delete items before shipping.

If you really have to try a tube mech, then have a swatch at ALL the threads on here about using, maintaining and cleaning them.

And tell your friend they are an eejit.:D
