Good MTL RTA?

We don't mind clones around this place especially when looking for a new tank a few weeks before Christmas [emoji16]

As long as they function the same theres no issue! And yeah.. black friday is at the worst time of year haha.

I've ordered Hastur MTL RTA by Cthulhu Mods from ecigone and looked into it after buying but it's a £10 so thought feck it I'll have it as always wanted one from Cthulhu ;) dunno how it's gonna perform but wicking is quete easy just had a look on yt for details :)

FUCKING HELL - BILLY BARGAIN
I've got mine for like £15/16 China offers and thought that was brill

Use the 2nd smallest insert - think it is 1.6mm
think it comes with jumbo 2.5mm installed
get them all on the table, pick the 2nd smallest one, pop that in

Run it with AFC closed - trust me it doesn't seal 100% so you will draw OK

Tiny bit of condensation - do not use smallest drip tip
a "moist" vape, slight condensation if you chain it at times

recently started using 27/28awg 0.35mm Kanthal from Stealthvape
over my other 28 & 29 stuff and noticed less moisture build up when I chain

7 wraps 0.35mm on a 2.5mm coil = 1.1 Ohm @ 13 watts = bliss

Got 5 of them, I bought some Dvarw's but the Hastur's are my everyday tanks
Really not interested in buying anything else, tank wise
& it it is piss easy to build with coils cw or ccw anyway you like
wicking is chuck in it simple stuff & foolproof filling - job done

It has a few minor imperfections....
big fucker 24mm, bit moist for some,
produces a bit more cloud and uses a tiny bit more juice

but VERY easy to get to grips with, almost foolproof
could I guess remove all inserts and open up the AFC for a restricted DL
but has a narrow chimney which is where the moist/condensation issue may arise

BUT fuck me for a tenner - jeez I bought a lot worse for lot more

good spot sir....

Received it today first build and it leaks a lil bit but that probably due to me inserting too much cotton other than that very nice tank :)sorry for late reply but not got notifications popping up on app :/ I want to go with a pipe will see few more wicks practice should solve it :)

Leaks a bit ???
That is one thing I can say my 5 never do compared to other tanks I tried
(even with me setting the coil pretty low)
The only habit I do now after many more picky tanks is I just "lift/shape" the elbows
so the cotton is more like 90 degree round elbow corner as it turns/drops down
just a small "lift" under the cotton before it drops down making a rounded turn
than an angled slope/drop turn into base, but was something I did on much pickier tanks

other than than, moderate stuffing of cotton, easiest tank for me all round
the only times hand on heart it has leaked for me....

cracked glass from a dropping it or chimney came undone when I went to rewick it
if still leaks - check glass for chips/bad seal, flip the glass or try the spare glass
(both glasses are fine on my Hastur, but had 2 x True "bubble"s that had chip/bad fitting)

best of luck

Thanks buddy and to be fair after I checked the tank over and undone the chimney I've had to mutch cotton in the thread so probably it's been sticking air through there and bit leaked while I tipped it pin three side, so will rewick at some point add not had chance today :/ and I'm at work now :)
Really easy tip build on though it just me getting the wicking in the swells :)
