Sods law you don't have another base to use. You maight get away with just making the thread go all the way ro the base if you have the tools to do so. but why do atomizer makers or some of them leave a space between the thread and the base . Doesn't take much to work out that a space stopps the atty sitting flush. Hope you have some luck sorting it
