Difference in vape on a mech between 3 different but similar style coils

Hi All,

Quick question (so I dont have to buy them all to try ALL the differences for myself). This is for a mech so bear in mind I can’t change the wattage.

Assuming, safety is covered, battery can of course handle any of these, what would be the real terms difference in vaping, from ramp up to ramp down, to battery sag happening, (also avoiding over boiled juices going back in the squonker) using the following 3, all on a mech squonker, a single coil Recurve, with a Samsung 30T.

In the past some large low ohm Alien coils I tried from Ebay seemed to take forever to ramp up on mech, when in fact most places suggest different (to my experience) in that lower build ramps, actually ramp up faster meaning less need to take in massive long lugs. Yes I know a lot has to do with thickness of wires too, so if I had to ‘only’ choose between the 3 below, any real world advice would be appreciated... p.s Currently using the stock 0.26 (and not too bad) but as on my last stock coil, would like to try something different, but stick with wotofo as enjoyed their fused clapton flavour.

What with the cost of those have you considered these? https://vaping101.co.uk/products/2589_coilology-7-in-1-performance-coils-box-choice-of-ss-or-ni80
I'd go for the NiChome, and after having decided which specific type you prefer - get a reel of Coilology wire and make them yourself...

Good idea and thx for the tip. But all seem around .30 give or take. Will order anyway for the purpose of trying.

However, still, for my own understanding (I understand the safety differences but not actual vaping difference) trying to figure out about ramp up times vs how it would vape in real terms on the mech as above, onsidering thye are all similar fused clapton which I like for flavour, if I ONLY had a choice between just the 3 above, which would be better on the mech and why?

Tri-core nichrome works best for me on a mech re. vape/ramp up etc. - but personal preference/vape style is a big factor.

You can add/remove wraps on pre-built, even force a greater id on them with care. Don't forget dual-coiling those 0.3s will give you 0.15 and work well.

Thanks, what I’m trying to work out is on a mech and a powerful 30T battery, if you have the same style of coil (fused clapton), same ID and same number of wraps, one quoted at 0.17 and one at 0.30 and one at 0.50, which would ramp up quicker, main goal so as not to require a ‘pre-puff’ to warm the coil before taking an enjoyable full puff?

If they are the same materials it'll be the lowest one. They've used thinner core wires [higher res] in the quad so as not to go too low.
