Derringer RDA

Derringer-1_zps08b451bb.jpg~original

Little things please little minds... Like little pants fit small behinds...

A cheap seats clone from FT. Not bad for a fiver.

This will be my first tip toe into RDA's and Im not sure which FT Derringer to get...

SS post, brass post or a copper post?

Any advice appreciated.
I'd get the one with a SS centre post. The cheap clone are likely to use crap plating and probably crap copper and brass too... Plus SS is tougher.

Maybe it's just me but I prefer the centre post to be SS on the clones.

Ta.

I was leaning towards stainless :)

I too played safe and went for the SS post option. Some folk think, that, because of its size you might be better off with a Delrin tip (as with the original) to avoid excess heat. Fortunately FT also sell Derringer styled compatible tips in delrin, as well as steel, copper, and brass (as in my photo) if you're not planning to roast your coils below 0.5 ohms.

Of course I should point out that Fasttech (and the whole of China) is about to shut down for the rest of the month so you'd better get your order in fast. Even then it'll be slower than usual as as many of 50% of the national work force have already started their journey from the cities back to their homes for New Year and the Lantern Festival.

Got mine yesterday and I'm loving it! It's a little leakier (even in single coil mode) than my Omerta but the flavour and vapour is amazing and it looks awesome on the SMPL.

I bought a Derringer clone from a local B&M today, just went to see what it would look like on my Xpro M50 and it won't screw on, it just about goes on the Mrs's istick but only turns like one turn and has a huge gap, before I take it back and make myself look silly is there anything I'm doing wrong? It seems to me that the centre pin is too long, and from what I've read it's not adjustable?
