Cotton wick is the future! (for me anyway)

Right, so I tried this today. I threaded the cotton wick through some 3mm ekowool and set it up in my igo L. First go I used .2 kanthal and had disappointing results. 2nd time I used .25 kanthal (I think) and it vaped like a smoke machine at a disco but it tastes like shit.

As a new vaper I have not tried any of this yet but wiki on candle wicks suggests the cotton in a tampon has good capillary properties .

I bought this been using it nearly a week its not bad nice flavour and I have not burned it yet. I think I will just use it as a backup wick and in my tiny dripper for testing flavour etc.

Thanks Daleson, I did try something similar from ebay, but couldn't get it to wick propaly. I will give it another go.

Did you boil it first? Not sure if that's needed to help it wick or just to remove anything it's been treated with
