UK Customers cannot buy Gift Certificates, like most people can. Some banking rule or other. Refunding to GC from a debit or credit card purchase would effectively be the same. So you don't get the GC, but they do refund to payment source. This isn't immediate, it will take a few days, but it will be refunded. No point panicking, they're not going to rob you.
