RTA with decent throat hit for 3mg nic vaping

I thought the Galaxies blew through far too much liquid, the Holic however I think is excellent but requires you to be squonking for reasonable usage.

Yeah the Galaxies is quite thirsty.

I'll maybe look into the Holic as it's basically a tweaked Galaxies deck & airflow by the looks of it.

It behaves far better from the liquid consumption angle too but as I say shines best on a squonker.

It's odd that what is basically the same deck uses less juice when compared to the rdta.

I didn't dwell on it, just moved the thing on, new owner likes them, so there's that, some are happy for MTL tanks to drink liquid like a RDTL, as I mostly use MTL when out and about it was a royal pita for me.

Hey all,

Could anyone recommend a rebuildable or 2 that'll give me a decent / good throat hit when vaping at 3mg / 10-12w?

I'm using home-made peppermint menthol juice with a 70pg / 30vg ratio. Coils are 2.5mm id 6-7 wrap 316L wire.

I have tried the Ares rta, True tank from Naturevape, Damn Vape DIamond and the Glaz Mini.
And although they all offer good to excellent flavour they are all a bit soft when it comes to the throat hit.
( Plus the Ares had a slight whiste, as did the Diamond when the airflow was reduced )

The one tank that I can get a decent feel from is the MD rta from Hellvape ( thankfully I picked it up after seeing Todd's review on it )

I realise my main issue is the 3mg nic strength ( I started out at 12mg years ago when I switched from cigs ), but the MD tank has given me hope that there is other rta's / rdta's out there that will be worth picking up.

I currently have the Galaxies RDTA in the post, so my fingers are crossed that it will do the trick too.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

The Glaz MTL mini - I had to go down from 9mg to six in just that tank - that should do it ... nice small chamber

I might use the puff counter on my mod to check that properly.

I find the throat hit a bit soft with it. It's very similar to the True tank in that respect.
Tried raising the coil about 3-4mm & it improved it slightly ( maybe due to more air turbulence? ) but not quite enough.
Shame really as I love the looks & size.

I plan to quit vaping eventually, so I've been slowly reducing my nic level.

That's why I'm currently down at 3mg

I stopped using the Damn Vape Fresia because it's a bit strong on the draw so might be what youre looking for.

Think I'll try the Spica Pro next though, but it'll need to wait until the end of the month.
