MTL atomiser advice please

I also have a Kangertech Protank that appears not to leak & has a glass tank. Trouble is the coils taste terrible after very few days. I have some spare coils but they are too long to fit so it seems there are different types.
What model do i have that uses short coils & has anyone any experience of them lasting longer?

With the protank I can heartily recommend these from naturevape, I used them for years in my protank, dead easy to rewick too.

Hi,

If you have an original Protank you can replace the base with one of these which will give you airflow options,

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1654500 - they also stop that minor drip on to the battery connection.

I use these coils which are cotton based instead of silica

https://www.fasttech.com/products/2438800 - 5 boxes for about £12 and available upto 2.5ohm

or you could bite the bullet and make your own out of these.....

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1521201

which gets you nearly a hundred coils for less than 2p each.

The coils will last anything from 5 mins to two weeks depending on the juice you use, the power you use and plain old luck of the draw.

I would guess I average about a week at 6.5 watts with home made mint and maybe 3 days with custard type.

I am very biased about these old tanks and have 3 in rotation right now along with my Prime and Doggystyle - so you might want to consider something else.

Actually I lied - looking on my desk I have an original Protank , three Protank 2's and two Protank 2 mini's on the go.... yes Im a scary fanboy.

For stock coils I can highly recommend the Zenith tank from Innokin.

Flavour is decent and it never leaks. Coils are 1.6ohm or 0.8ohm and last at least 2 weeks. I buy them from a UK business and they cost £8.99 shipped for a 5 pack!

It's also super easy to change coils and wash should you need too.. plenty of choice on the airflow as well :)

I've decided to try a Naturevape coil & rewick using cotton when needed. I have a choice of 1.4 or 1.8ohm coils.
What's the difference? My 40w mod will handle either. MTL, 60/40 & looking for maximum flavour with longest time between rebuilds.
Which gets your vote? 1.4 or 1.8?

I've started a new thread for this different question. Thanks for all the advice.
