Really looking forward to comparing these for a few days, atties that is.

I know I found the Reaper far easier to build than the Calix.

    Happy days!

Ooh, a die hard calix man gets a reaper. Interesting. Is it loaded with the mtl deck spikey.

I think he went down the route as me and had the 2.7 deck?
I can safely say that I could not be any happier:)

Actually I did order the 2.7 but got the MTL (2.7 is on it’s way to me, thanks to brilliant customer service from John). Couldn’t wait so built the MTL.

I was expecting it to be a little tight for me due to it being only 1.8, 2.2 is my preferred size, but it’s actually really, really good, using the largest hole on the ring.

Still looking forward to trying the 2.7 but until then it’s working nicely for me, very similar to a KF3 mini with no airscrew, just a tad tighter but not much.

Definitely looser than the True or a KF5 with the 1.8 reducer in it.

I really like the calix v2. Never tried any reaper but had a look at the thread and it sounds good.

Now trying it with the 2.7, it’s going to be a tough call which I prefer as both are so good!

OK :) I'll be the one to say it........... Elephants and Rooms.................
Personally....... I feel it to be the BEST RTA that I have ever had !!!
Now most of you know that NOTHING could sway me from my beloved Calixes......... Until NOW. The Calixes are retired :11::11::11:

Very shortly my Review of the Reaper V3 will finally see the light of day, so keep your eyes on The Front End Reviews Section. ;)
