Has anyone managed to crack a decent coffee /coffee nut cake? I have tried loads of variations and now own pretty much every coffee concentrate. I have just made 'smooth morning kick' after a pricey FA order and hope this steeps into 'the one'. Is it me or is coffee a complete bastard to get right? Most of my efforts are totally rancid and nearly threw up after trying my last effort at coffee walnut cake. I am hoping FA dark bean espresso and tiramisu do the trick. Great thread by the way.

The Irish Cream variation is my all ADV. The above recipe is a perfect coffee base for playing around with variations (nut, caramel etc.). The flavour amounts using FA concentrates are surprisingly minimal but I reckon this is the key.
