Remember @Simon G , that’s why we ended up with that sunset virginia tasting like eating dehydrated potato straight from the packet. They recommend mixing that one at only 0.5% or something.

yeah, because you can't taste it at 0.5%

The whole "This flavour is horrible, so we'll advise mixing it so low it tastes of nothing" doesn't really wash for me anymore.

Yep, I use that at 15% too.

It's great, I mixed 10% chow with 4% Cap Gingerbread too, which is really tasty.

It’s actually good at 0.5% though. There are many flavours that are adequate at even less than that, and even 1% will taste either disgusting, overpowering or have terrible off notes, like the smash powder example in question.
