No reason other than business.
Darkstar are vaping business, small ~ medium size.
I would presume Darant Chemicals are a much larger business with greater turnover, possibly a manufacturer of the actual PG & VG? This means they can sell cheaper.
Never used DC but they are mentioned around here and used.

Then there is Lubrisolve, again I have never used but well respected on here.
Going hardcore at DIY then look at this link provided the other day that I bookmarked.
£1.80 a litre when calculated down.

Other question i had was filtering.... is there a consensual best way to filter ? i mean let say you marinate a few real fruits or wood in the liquid, what's the best way to filter ?
(Not sure if the best way is to start new topics or continue on this one... i jump from one topic to another...)
