Exactly as you said. In a sanitised jam jar, cover with PG, leave for 2-3 months, then filter through coffee filters. Use at about 10-20%. You can finesse the process. I stick mine in the freezer for a couple of weekends to try and burst the plant cells. They do gunk cotton a bit, so some people use specialised filters. Some people use mild amounts of heat.Aren't they a bit expensive though? I've been toying with the idea of steeping a pouch of duty free in a jar of PG for a couple of months and seeing what that tastes like (would that even work?) but I want something a bit more immediate. And cheap. And tasty. Like I said, I've been enjoying lots of flavours but sometimes I get an itch that I just can't scratch.
How did you do it? Did it take long?
