72mg nic in shortfills

Hi there. i have just purchased some horny flava 55ml (65ml) shortfills.
how much 72mg pg nic should i add to make it 3mg.

I have searched the forums and its either 2.4ml using the excel calculator or 2.71ml using steam engine.
im confused as to which is right.
can anyone help me out?

But I’d add 2.71 just to be safe

I don’t think you can work this or with steam engine. You would need to know the final mix volume.

I think @speedfreek67 will be able to tell you. Or somebody else that understands maths.

Would it be easier to just get a 10ml nic shot? One 10ml 18mg nic shot would make it 3mg.

Do you just want to use the nic on its own, making less than 65ml, or are you going to top it up with VG/PG to 65ml?

I would like the final mix ratio to be 3mg 50/50 so I will have to top up with vg. Didn't realise this earlier

Im used to making my own juices using a scale and the steam engine calculator. This is my first time using shortfills since I got them for pretty cheap.

Basically it's 2.4ml of 72mg nic, if that's all you are adding.

72mg/ml x 2.4 = 172.8mg of nic.
172.8 / 57.4 (the total ml including the nic) = ~ 3mg/ ml

Or it's 2.71ml of 72mg nic, if you are topping it up to 65ml.

72 X 2.71 = 195.12mg of nic.
195.12 / 65ml = ~ 3mg/ml



So you want the second option.
