12mg flavour concentrate

Thanks guys for some great info, you have given me loads to study and hopefully learn more about this art. Since your replies my head has been whirring with calculations trying to follow step by step so as to make it sink in lol, I'm feeling a lot more confident now. Once again a big thank you to all.

Sorry about the huge link, this calculator lets you assign nic to concentrates and balance your PG/VG.

I tested it at 18mg 40/60 with 72mg PG based nic and 12mg pg based concentrate at 10%:

2.33ml of Nic
0.66ml of PG
6ml of VG
1ml flavour

Looks good to me
Set Base Nicotine to 72 and PG/VG to 100
Set target to 18 or 16 or whatever and target PG/VG to 40/60
Set amount to make - in this case 10ml
Set Flavour one to 10% and 12mg and 100% PG
Tick agree box ( agreeing you wont sue his ass off when you poison yourself :-) )
Click calculate
Looks Bob on and you can adjust it to 16mg and 15% concentrate or whatever very easily,

That's a great link, that's the only calculator I have ever seen that includes mg for flavours (surely deserves a sticky). thanks again for your effort.

It is true that the nicotine level of the base gets a bit diluted by adding flavour/aroma.
That dilution is MUCH smaller when the flavour contains nicotine (in this case 12mg).
We have this e-base calculator that can help you:

What you need to put into it (see the picture I have included)
1. The nicotine level of the base with nicotine you want to use for the mix
2. The nicotine level you want in the finished e-liquid.
3. How much finished e-liquid you want to make.
and
4. How many % of flavour you want to use.
-you can then see how much of each ingredient you need to add to get the 1000ml 16mg e-liquid.

The problem is that this only factor in you using a flavour with 0mg nicotine.
How to allow for a flavour with 12mg nicotine I must admit is beyond my mathematical skills...sorry :/
However if it was me I would mix up a base containing 18mg of nicotine, and then add the flavour with 12mg.
It is not a 100% precise method...but it will bring you very close to 16mg in the final e-liquid.

So he makes concentrate with nic added, which is apparently better as the flavour gets less diluted, but doesn’t know if any way to accurately make liquid out of it? I’m scratching my head here, maybe I’ve misunderstood...?

Okay, a 12% concentrate at 12mg/ml will come out at 1.44 mg/ml nic. Let's round that down to 1.4 mg/ml.

So you need to add enough 72mg nic to add 14.6 mg/ml of nic to the mix, to end up with around 16 mg/ml nic.

Using PG 72mg/ml nic, to end up with a final mix at 16mg, 12% flavour...
