    Been there got the t shirt sort of thing for me on rbas/rdas, never really got into it and went back to normal builds. I have never bothered to try temp control on any of my gennies and was wondering who has and thoughts on the vape.

    I'm exclusively using TC and mesh at the moment. I have 29g and 32g Ni200 in Nextiny and Nextasis on DNAs. Mesh and TC seem made for each other. No hot spots, no real need for oxidising, no dry hits...

    Check out basilray on YouTube, he was a beta tester for the DNA40, so the idea probably originated with him. I don't like the way he glows his nickel coils though...

    Does it have to be nickel? Can you use SS, TI, NiFe30 etc with mesh?

    I think Ti would work. Others you'd need to experiment with. The principle is that it's a lot lower resistance than the mesh, so the electricity doesn't want to flow through the mesh at all...
