Gennie issues

    Hi peeps wondered if anyone can help i have a kraken and rsst which i have had working fine before i have just got some new 2.5mm ss rope but it doesnt seem to wick properly i keep getting heinous dry hits was wondering if there was anything i could do to try and alleviate this or if its just shit rope

    I have heard you should remove one strand from the rope.
    I have also heard people say rope is just shit.
    I have rope, I have not tried it in my krakens yet.

    Nah, your mixing me up with someone else lol. I'd given up and retired my Gennie, it's back in use now but with cotton!

    Any room in wick hole around your rope? If too tight thatll stop it wicking,open up the other wick hole see if that helps

    Using 2mm rope sorry not the 2.5mm i said at the beginning quite loose in wick hole does kinda work just dry hits quute often im hoping some of the techniques above i will have some more luck i have 10mtrs of rope so plenty of practise available lol

    Try a strand out then buddy,couldnt get on eith rope personally,much prefer mesh
