Where the hell does the wick go?!?

Thin it out with tweezers, pin or small screwdriver & trim the ends. Too much cotton on the deck means less in the well & slower capillary action. You want the wick to be resting on the deck with enough to draw juice up to the coil but not so much that it fills the juice well.

Thanks so much for your help, here is the wicking on the build i did today.

Juice it up & see if it's ok. Proof in the pudding & all that. Looks much better than before so definitely going in the right direction. All part of the learning curve [emoji106].
