Well I had a crack at that Clapton today. Used 2 strands of 28 kanthal twisted for the core, with a 32 wrap. Came out at 0.4ohm and doesn't hit as well as the zipper I took off to build this one. Might be better with 3 or 4 strands for the core.

Or could try less wraps?

Decided to fuck it off until I'm back home with a proper wire range to choose from. Build myself a new zipper with parallel 3 strand 28awg. Reading 0.18ohm and hitting like a champ.
