Looking for advice on mechanical mod coils

Righto!.

I'm looking for some information on some nice coils for mechs.

I've got some ni80 24awg which I like but I'm just finding my feet with it I've been twisting 26/29 ss316l aiming around 0.2/0.3

But what I'm interested in is how people get aliens Claptons and the like to give a good vape in a mechanical? without the ramp up etc...

Are they ni80 alien's? etc..

I'm lost I understand alot of those pictures I see will be a shit vape just coil porn but then I read people using fancy coils in mechs.

I'm looking forward to hearing from the more knowledgeable.

Oh and I'm looking for flavour as my main priority.

I'm happy where I am vaping but if I can learn a thing or two I'll be happier.

Since moving back to #mechlyfe I've no needed a fancy coil. Flattened Nichrome works just peachy for me.
If you make the cores of posh coils with either Nichrome or Stainless steel you can put them in a mech.

Right im shit at explaining stuff and putting words into text so im gonna try and keep it simple xD

Multiple core coils, Aliens, Staples etc come out at lower ohms, the lower the ohms are the more amps get pulled from the battery, which pushes more watts through the coil which counters the mass of the coil, lowering the ramp up time. make sense? xD

Kanthal is energy hungry so is shit for single cell mechs, good for series builds though, SS and ni80 is what you want to be using especially in the "fancier" builds unless youre trying to raise the resistance of a coil then you can use a mix of the different wires.

A lot of the coil porn pictures are just for the picture, they ohm out ridiculous low and just aren't safe to put anywhere near your face

So I've seen rolls of alien ni80 and fused Clapton ni80 are available. So what gauge rolls should I be looking at getting?.

Wasted too much money so wanted a bit of advice first.
